EXPERIENCE

I have completed 100+ investigations with organizations large (5000+) and small (<50), across industries and sectors, in both unionized and non-unionized environments. I have conducted investigations involving workplace discrimination, harassment and violence in the workplace, hostile work environment and culture, policy breaches (including Code of Conduct violations), abuse of authority, and financial impropriety. I am based in Calgary, Alberta, but I have conducted investigations across Canada – have laptop, will travel!

EXPERTISE

I am a licensed investigator with the Province of Alberta Solicitor General, which means that I am legally and ethically required to maintain confidentiality, to be compliant with the laws and legislation, and to adhere to a professional Code of Conduct. I have conducted investigations involving multiple allegations alleged over multi-year periods, complaints involving multiple complainants, and investigations involving counter-complaints and scope creep and complaints involving serious allegations against senior members of leadership.

EDUCATION

I have a Masters of Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management from the University of Toronto.

I have been accredited by the Alberta Justice and Solicitor General as a licensed professional investigator. I have completed additional specialized training covering HR investigations, investigative interviewing, report writing and violence prevention.
